Terms of Service
Last updated: August 19, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of eSkoolio, a school management platform ("Service," "Platform") provided to schools, school groups, and their authorized users. By registering for or using eSkoolio, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. The Service
eSkoolio provides a web-based platform for managing school operations, including but not limited to: student records, admissions, attendance, examinations, timetabling, fee and finance management, human resources and payroll, communications, and related administrative tools. Features available to a given school depend on the subscription plan selected.
2. Accounts and Access
- A school ("Customer") registers for eSkoolio and is responsible for creating and managing user accounts for its own staff, teachers, and administrators.
- Each user is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their own login credentials and for all activity that occurs under their account.
- Customers are responsible for ensuring that only authorized personnel are granted access to the platform, and for promptly deactivating access for staff who leave the school.
- Multi-campus organizations may designate an "Owner" account with oversight across linked campuses; each campus's day-to-day administration remains the responsibility of that campus's designated Admin/Principal.
3. Customer Responsibilities
The Customer (school) is responsible for:
- The accuracy of data entered into the platform (student records, staff records, fee structures, etc.)
- Obtaining any consents required by applicable law before entering personal data of students, parents, or staff into the platform
- Complying with applicable education, labor, and data protection laws in its use of the platform
- Maintaining its own backups or exports of critical data where desired, in addition to the platform's own data storage
4. Subscription Plans and Billing
- eSkoolio offers multiple subscription tiers, which may differ in the number of students supported and the features included (for example, AI-assisted scheduling, SMS notifications, or multi-campus support).
- A school that exceeds its plan's student limit, or whose subscription payment is overdue, may have write access to the platform temporarily restricted to a read-only mode until the matter is resolved. Existing data remains viewable during this period; no data is deleted solely due to a plan limit or overdue payment.
- Subscription fees, billing cycles, and plan details will be as agreed at the time of signup or as subsequently updated with notice to the Customer.
- We reserve the right to change pricing for future billing periods with reasonable advance notice.
5. Refunds and Cancellation
See our separate Refund and Cancellation Policy for details on cancelling a subscription and any applicable refunds.
6. Optional Features
Certain features are optional and may be enabled or disabled by the school or by eSkoolio's platform administrators:
- AI-assisted scheduling: uses a third-party AI service to propose class or exam schedules, subject to a monthly usage allowance under the applicable plan. Suggestions are a starting point only; the school remains responsible for reviewing and finalizing any schedule before relying on it.
- SMS notifications: where enabled, used to send fee reminders, attendance alerts, or urgent announcements to parents/guardians via SMS. Message delivery depends on third-party telecom carriers and is not guaranteed.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to another school's data or another user's account
- Interfere with or disrupt the platform's operation or security
- Upload data you do not have the right to upload, or that infringes the rights of others
- Use the platform to harass, defame, or harm any individual
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for any account found to violate these Terms.
8. Data Ownership
Data entered by a school into eSkoolio (student records, staff records, financial data, etc.) remains the property of that school. eSkoolio acts as a service provider processing this data on the school's behalf, as described in our Privacy Policy. Upon termination of a subscription, the school may request an export of its data within a reasonable period before deletion.
9. Availability and Support
We aim to keep eSkoolio available and performing reliably but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Planned maintenance will be communicated where practical. Support is provided via the contact details on our website.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, eSkoolio and its operators shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform, including but not limited to data loss, business interruption, or loss of profits, except where caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
11. Termination
Either party may terminate a subscription in accordance with the Refund and Cancellation Policy. We may suspend or terminate access immediately in cases of a material breach of these Terms, including non-payment or misuse of the platform.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to Customers with reasonable notice. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless otherwise required by applicable local law.
